Rodney Branigan returns to PAH this August!
We love hosting talented musicians at the Art House. It's a focused space where you and the musician get a chance to see each other face to face.

There is a lot to say about what Rodney brings to the table as a musician, songwriter, and all around performer. In the interest of space and time, much of it is available here

What we will say is that the last show we brought Rodney in for sold out fast. To make is as easy as possible for you to reserve your seat we have a link for you to buy your tickets. There is minimal seating, so act now and don't miss your chance to see Rodney live at PAH!

Location:

Process Art House, 700 South Van Buren, Amarillo, TX 79101, www.processarthouse.com

What is the project?

“If it's the eve of a new year, so it's clean sweep/confession time. Here goes. I confess - I'm a pusher. An art pusher. I hope that one of the effects of writing these columns is to get people "hooked" on art.” - Hunter Ingalls, ArtBeat 12.31.06

The Arts Pusher Project (the Project) has the expressed intention of facilitating a sense of community and collaboration amongst Amarillo’s artistic community. Our goal is push the arts. We will do this through group shows, collaborative shows, art education programs, and community events.

Arts Pusher is not a project, but instead a series of projects. The first expansion of this project is titled Collaborating with Hunter Ingalls.

This expansion includes an exhibition and communal art project on Feb. 9th, 2012 (near Hunter’s birthday) at Process Art House to coincide with the production and development of the first of a multiple volume series of full length books to be launched in April of 2012 at the Feast of the Overpass, a beloved local event. Over 25 local artists were assigned a poem of Hunter's. Each artist is responding to the work in his or her own way for the exhibition. After the opening event, the works will be compiled along with the poetry in a re-publication of 65 Word Stars, Hunter's most popular book of poems.

The second expansion of the Arts Pusher Project will culminate with another group show in October of 2012. More details on this expansion will be available soon.

If you would like to know more, please call Process Art House at 806.681.4337. We will update this page as the project continues to progress. If you would like to help out by sponsoring the show, click here.
